HUUM Sauna Heaters, Installed
Upgrade any sauna we install to a HUUM heater, with Wi-Fi control from your phone. Supplied, fitted and commissioned across Dorset.
Why Upgrade
Better Steam, Better Control
The heater makes the sauna. Every Yakia cabin comes with a capable steel wall-mounted heater, but HUUM heaters hold far more stone — from 55kg in the DROP to 150kg in the HIVE Mini and STEEL. More stone means softer, longer-lasting löyly when you throw water, and a more even heat on the top bench.
Add the UKU Wi-Fi controller and you can start the sauna from the train home, then get a notification on your phone when it's up to temperature.
The Heaters
HUUM Heaters We Fit
Wall-mounted
HUUM DROP
HUUM’s best-known heater: an open steel cage of stones that holds more than many wood-burning stoves, giving softer, longer-lasting löyly when you throw water.
- Red Dot design award 2015
- Wall-mounted, so it keeps floor space clear
- Can be set into a bench
Floor-standing
HUUM CLIFF
A slim, upright steel heater just 27cm square. An internal air tunnel moves heat through the stones and heats the room around 25% faster.
- Red Dot design award 2021
- Small safety distances — good for compact cabins
- Body made from offcuts of HUUM’s STEEL heaters
Floor-standing
HUUM HIVE Mini
A beehive-shaped heater that holds 150kg of stones — nearly three times the DROP — for the deepest, most even heat in the range.
- Can stand away from the wall
- Air tunnel as standard from 2025
- The most stone mass of any heater we fit
Floor-standing
HUUM STEEL
A solid, square steel heater with 150kg of stones in a 32cm footprint — simple, heavy-duty and built to run for years.
- 150kg stone capacity
- Compact square footprint
- Clean industrial look
Sizing
Which HUUM Fits Which Sauna?
Glass loses heat faster than an insulated wall, so a glazed cabin needs more power than its volume alone suggests — as a rule, each square metre of glass adds about 1.2m³ to the heating load. We match the HUUM to the output Yakia specifies for each cabin, and confirm it at the site visit.
| Sauna | Inside | Standard heater | HUUM upgrade options |
